Fresh Start TechRetire your hardware.
Keep your data sealed.
FreshStartTech buys back, refurbishes, and recycles retired technology for businesses, schools, and IT teams. Send the inventory — a dozen laptops off a refresh, a classroom of iPads, a full office at lease-end — and one point of contact handles evaluation, payment, data wiping, and recycling start to finish.
Anything with resale value gets bought back and put back to work. Anything past its life is recycled through approved channels. Either way, the data comes off first.
We buy and process most business hardware. Not sure about a specific item? Send us your inventory and we'll tell you.

Protecting your data is the part we treat as non-negotiable.
Wiped before resale
Every storage device is securely erased before a unit is refurbished or resold.
Destroyed when needed
Drives that can't be securely erased are physically destroyed or recycled through approved channels.
Documented on request
We keep records of processed equipment and can provide proof of completed data sanitization.
Five steps from inventory to payment.
- 01
Inventory review
Send a list of what's coming out of service. Model numbers, quantities, and rough condition are enough to start — a spreadsheet or a few asset-tag photos work fine.
Send your inventory - 02
Quote
We price the lot against live resale comps and come back with a per-unit offer, usually within two business days. No obligation to take it.
- 03
Collection or shipping
Small lots ship to us on a prepaid label. For larger volumes or a full office, we arrange a pickup that fits your timeline.
- 04
Inspection & wipe
Every unit is inspected and its serial logged. Each drive is wiped to standard — or physically destroyed if it can't be — and the records are kept.
- 05
Payment
Once inspection confirms the lot, payment goes out the way you want it: ACH, check, or wire.
Whatever can be refurbished gets refurbished and put back into use. What can't be economically repaired is recycled through approved channels.
The point is to keep working machines working and dead ones out of a landfill — and the resale value is what makes that pay for itself instead of costing you.
That retired gear is budget you haven't recovered yet.
- →Per-unit offers, not a lump-sum lowball

Ready to clear out retired equipment?
Send the rough inventory and we'll come back with a no-obligation evaluation. It goes to someone who can actually price it and commit, not a ticket queue.
A model-and-quantity list is plenty to start. The more detail you include, the faster we can put a real number on it.
